1 Corinthians 14:31
For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.
14:31. The principle which regulated the exercise of tongues applied similarly to prophets. What was said was to benefit everyone by way of instruction or encouragement in the Christian life (cf. v. 3).
