Qadisha

Qadisha (kah-deeʹshah; Heb., ‘the holy [river]’), modern Nahr Abu ‘Ali, a river that flows from the upper slopes of the Lebanon range northwest to the Mediterranean which it enters at the city of Tripoli. The modern park containing the few remaining cedars of Lebanon is in the upper gorge of the river, but there is no evidence for the conjecture that it was the route used for transporting the cedars sent by Hiram of Tyre to Solomon for the construction of the Temple (cf. 1 Kings 5:1-12).
